my approach to psychology

I have three guiding philosophies.

Align the mind. There are three levels of the mind – conscious, subconscious, unconscious. I’m trained in a unique blend of modalities that allow me work with all three levels so we can align your mind to support you in living a life you love. If one part of your mind isn’t in alignment with the others it often feels like being stuck in the muck, spinning your wheels with self-sabotage, or trying to see your destination through a heavy fog. Mental alignment can change everything.

Love over fear. Fear is rampant. Fear of rejection, fear of failure, fear of not being good enough, fear of success, fear of failure, fear of vulnerability … fear. When we’re paralyzed by fear, it’s pretty hard to live a great life. Choosing love isn’t always easy. I’m here to offer up techniques and perspectives that can help.

Blend the tools. My training in psychology gives me the tools and knowledge to help you heal the past so you can step into the life you love with freedom. My training in life coaching gives me the tools and knowledge to support you in creating a soulful strategy to move from where you are right now into the life you love. In our work together, we’ll find the perfect blend to support you.

What’s the difference between psychology and coaching? 

Psychology. We all want to live a life that is brimming with authentic happiness, a sense of purpose, a feeling of belonging, plenty of loving relationships, healthy habits, confidence, clarity, and dreams turned into reality. But, many of us struggle with trauma from the past that interfere with the life we love. These wounds from the past can end up being like the bars on our prison and unless we remove them, we can feel trapped and unable to move forward.

Using the wisdom and science of psychology we can explore the why of what is preventing you from living a life you love. We can get to the root of toxic habits, shine light on unconscious patterns, challenge and transform limiting beliefs, and bring healing to old traumas. Liberation follows.

Coaching. Through coaching we tap into inspiration and move into action as you design and live a life you love. Coaching helps you organize your thinking in a powerful way, successfully navigate change, create strategies that maximize time and energy, and take action that moves you into the life you love. Sometimes, I’ll be your accountability partner, other times I’ll be your cheerleader.

I believe, deep down in my soul, that living a life you love is a combination of healing the past, loving the present, and lighting up the future.
