Yessss! You’re coming.
It’s going to be grand.
Every year, our community comes together for a Great Life Celebration {read about last year’s celebration here}.
We’re excited to welcome you to this fun, free event for our community where we raise money for charity: water.
We’re still firming up the details, but there are a few things we know for sure.
Date
May 12, 2016 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Location
A historic mansion, downtown Calgary.
Lougheed House – 707 13 Ave SW, Calgary
There is free parking in the two parking lots at the mansion – one located off 13th Avenue and one off 14th Avenue {just west of the house}.
Public street parking is also available in the area but payment may be required.
It’s just a few blocks from the c-train if public transit is more your style.
Fun
My friend Chris Guillebeau is coming to town to help us celebrate. He’ll be talking about how to find the work you were born to do. You can pre-order his book here and bring it to the event for him to sign.
Speaking of books, my book Your Great Life! a soulful and strategic guide to designing a life you love will be ready and I’ll be donating all the profits to charity: water.
We’re raising money for charity: water with a silent auction featuring gorgeous art by Belinda Fireman, malas by Precious Malas, fiber art, styling sessions, and more!
There will also be music by DJ Soulshine, a photo booth, card reading, a letter writing station with old fashioned typewriters {spread love!}, community acupuncture by Urban Roots Wellness, delicious food and drinks available for purchase, and other fun surprises.
Volunteer
Want to help? Thank you!
Does organizing make you’re heart happy? We’re looking for people to help with logistics.
Do you have something you’d like to donate to a good cause? We’re gathering bits of awesomeness for a silent auction.
Are you a local celebrity and want to lend your name to a good cause? The more the merrier.
Know how to sling tarot? We’d love a reader or two to offer readings by donation.
Send me a note and we can jam on ideas – gemma@gemmastone.org
I’m excited to see you! There’s a hug waiting.
