For many of us, anger isn’t a comfortable emotion.

Out of all the emotions there are to experience, anger is the one I experience the least. Frustration happens occasionally, sometimes irritation. But, anger? Rarely.

When I reflect back on my life, I can see how in the sporadic moments I allowed anger to flare there was something meaningful to see. It was the fire of anger that cauterized a long-standing wound that needed to heal. It’s what destroyed a dysfunctional pattern I was stuck in and sparked the change I needed to make. It’s what catapulted me out of the slow and steady plodding pace my patient-self told me I should stick to.

Without feeling anger and harnessing its power, I’d still be stuck.

The fire of anger can help you see what you need to see, so you can be who you want to be, and do what you want to do.

Harnessing the power of anger doesn’t mean entering unto unconscious reactive lashing out. It’s about dropping pretense, courtesy, niceties, and speaking the truth with love.

It’s about taking a stand for what matters to you.

Harnessing the power of anger is about no longer putting up with the bullshit that weighs you down. It’s about trusting you will rise with resiliency. It’s about knowing broken hearts heal beautifully. It’s about knowing good things can come from dark times.

Anger can remind you of what you’re capable of, what you value, and how to live with personal authority.

Consciously dancing with the fire of anger can allow to you burn away everything that blocks pure love.

Engage with anger consciously and harness its power to serve you and your great life.
